Objectives
The course aims to:
- provide the basic knowledge required for business management, with regard to the assessment of business facts and to operational, commercial and financial management. The course focuses on the issues of SMEs and local businesses and on changes brought about by globalisation and the diffusion of information and communication technology.
- develop the organisational side of business fundamentals, in terms of structures, operational systems and human resource management;
- study in detail aspects of marketing, communication and the interaction between enterprises and markets in general;
- ensure a sound knowledge of analysis methods, tools and the economic, legal and social background required to understand and manage business issues.
Job opportunities
Business economics students will develop management skills they can use to interpret enterprise mission and business management in all industrial or service-oriented economics sectors. Graduates will be able to carry out management tasks in public and private sector companies and organisations operating in finance, commerce, marketing and production. Graduates will be able to work as employees, or as business professionals, such as accountants or business consultants.
Graduates must take an exam to qualify as members of the professional association in order to practise the profession.
