Postgraduate education

After second cycle degree or European specialistic degree students can carry on with their studies. The University of Udine provides also a wide range of postgraduate courses.

Research doctorate/PhD courses

The research doctorate is an academic title awarded at the end of a course of three years, admission to which is based on entrance examinations. Doctorate courses are open, without age or citizenship limits, to all those who already hold a degree or similar academic title awarded abroad which has been recognised as equivalent to an Italian degree by the Committee responsible for the entrance examination.

Specialisations Schools

Specialisation Schools are postgraduate courses in Medicine and Surgery but also non-medical Specialisation Schools.

Italian Masters

A Masters is a postgraduate degree of scientific expertise and of higher permanent and recurrent education, taken after earning a 1st degree or a specialised degree.The University Masters are divided into first and second level courses: access to the level I Masters requires a completed 1st degree course, while access to the level II Masters requires a completed specialised degree cours.
