Abstract

Learning objectives:
•    to highlight the challenges of the current scientific communication system
•    to provide a comprehensive overview of Open Science and its potential, exploring the context of the EOSC

•    provide detailed operational tools for practising Open Science, with the aid of an interactive game
•    explore the rationale and benefits of Open Access and the practical tools involved, with a particular focus on Diamond Open Access
•    explore the obligations arising from Horizon Europe
•    understand the three fundamental steps: a) managing data, b) making it FAIR by design, c) making it Open where possible
•    provide basic skills in research data management and the drafting of a Data Management Plan (DMP) through a practical exercise.
