Useful Tips: accommodation, health insurance, language courses and other information

Accommodation

Before arrival all international students who are either enrolled at UNIUD university or engaged in a student mobility programme, will have to look for accommodation on their own, according to personal selection criteria and needs.

Health Insurance

Exchange students need to be covered by an health insurance.
There are different types of health insurance policies according to the student's citizenship:

- if you are an European Student you could use your EU EHIC CARD 

- if you are a Non-EU student, you must take out a private health insurance to cover the entire exchange study period.

Italian Language Courses

UNIUD Languages Center organizes Italian Language Courses for Exchange Students. 

You will need to ascertain first your linguistic level by taking the Placement Test that will tell you which language course better suits you.

Arrival at UNIUD

As soon as you book your flight or at least 10 days before the arrival in Udine, you need to communicate the date of your arrival to the International Office writing an e-mail to: iss@uniud.it
