Description
The group deals with agricultural mechanics, and agricultural and forest mechanization. In particular, it deals with machinery and plants for processes of agricultural, livestock and forest biosystems, green areas and agri-food industries. The group addresses design, construction, operational, functional, management and environmental aspects, as well as operator health and safety. For these purposes, it is also interested in applications such as information technology, sensors, automation, robotization, precision management, process modelling and logistics of agricultural, agri-food and forest industries. It also deals with machines and systems for the treatment and recovery of wastewater, agro-industrial and forest by-products, and the production, conversion, use and energy saving for agro-industrial and forest production systems, including unconventional energy sources.
