The HR Excellence in Research Award is a recognition granted by the European Commission that certifies institutions’ commitment to applying the principles of the new European Charter for Researchers (2023). The process to obtain and maintain the Award is voluntary, structured, and subject to periodic assessments. The Award attests that an organisation provides high-quality working conditions, supports attractive research careers, and applies open, transparent, and merit-based recruitment procedures. Once awarded, the logo automatically appears in job advertisements on EURAXESS and may be used in institutional materials to highlight the organisation’s commitment to researchers.
