To facilitate travel planning within the European Union, the European Commission has launched Re-open EU, a web platform that is periodically updated with the information that the Commission receives from the Member States on openings/limitations and any restrictions to be taken into account when you decide to plan a trip for work-family-tourism in Europe. The site is available in 24 languages.

With regard to Italy, please note that on May 7th, 2021 a Decree came into force amending previous decrees and regulating travel to/from abroad since May 16th to July 30th, 2020; please read carefully and check in detail the provisions of art. 4, art. 5 and art. 6.

The FAQs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been updated accordingly, showing in table form the different provisions for entry into Italy depending on the country of origin; there are restrictions on travel from the airport to the final destination of arrival for those entering Italy and the situation is constantly changing. The FAQs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the web page of the Ministry of Health on anti-COVID 19 measures present the regulations, all the necessary information and the forms to be signed for entry into Italy.
