Scholarship-funded positions are awarded to eligible candidates in the ranking list as specified below:

• Scholarships linked to specific research topics funded by external entities or partner institutions are assigned according to the ranking order and up to the total number available.
  
  
• Scholarships not linked to specific research topics, funded by the University of Udine, external entities, or partner institutions, are assigned according to the ranking order and up to the total number available.

Non-scholarship positions (if available) are assigned to eligible candidates as specified below:

• Non-scholarship positions linked to specific topics
  
  
• Non-scholarship positions without any specific topic

If no non-scholarship positions linked to specific topics are available, the waiver of the scholarship results in exclusion from the PhD programme.

Procedure for communicating the waiver of the scholarship

To communicate the waiver of the scholarship, the candidate must complete the relevant form, sign it, and upload it in PDF format to Esse3.

The form must also be sent by email to the Supervisor, the PhD Programme Coordinator, and the Research Training Office.
