Objectives

Epidemiological, clinical, and experimental medicine data increasingly indicate that there are differences in the incidence and progression of many diseases common to men and women.

The seminar aims to raise awareness of sex- and gender-related variability on people's health. Awareness that, on the one hand, is essential to ensure the experimental rigor of medical and scientific research and, on the other, is the necessary first step in the development of a personalized approach to patient care.
