  • Sufficiency of disclosure - how to ensure the invention is properly disclosed (this can concern DNA sequences, biological material, chemical compounds, "reach-through claims" or antibodies)
  • Examples of patent applications and common issues found regarding claim structure or other aspects

Speaker

David Alves is a European Patent Office Young Professional who is attending his secondment period by Area Science Park Patlib Center. David has BSc in Biochemistry and a MSc in Bioengineering and Nanosystems. Before starting his Patent Examination traineeship he performed several research internship by the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica, Oeiras, Portugal and in Sungkyunkwan University (South Korea).
