Role Summary:

The Field Service Engineer Intern will be based in a hospital in Udine, work closely with the Clinical Engineering team, and collaborate with other local strategic departments (e.g. Health Directorate, Health Physics, Acceptance etc.) to manage all the Hospitals in Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, according to the contracts GE HC concluded with them.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assure, together with Clinical Engineering, full control and management of medical equipment, maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Organize, under the supervision of Clinical Engineering, training activities for healthcare professionals and technicians
  • Support Clinical Engineering in managing malfunctions or breakdowns
  • Be involved in verification of critical issues, supporting Clinical Engineering during inspection and writing reports about unscheduled maintenance activities
  • Enter and research data using GE HC informatic systems, and write reports if needed in a timely manner

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related disciplines
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, ability to establish good relationships with customers and staff
  • EU work permit
