Objectives

This Workshop aims to provide students with an introductory yet comprehensive overview of architectural space. Freehand drawing and technical drawing will be supported by lectures of descriptive geometry as science of graphical representation of three-dimensional lines, surfaces and solids with emphasis and development of drawing skills. Theoretical introductions to the topics are followed by practical exercises, students will focus, step by step, on many different techniques, from the sketch to actual drawing.

Acquired skills

Fundamentals and rules of freehand drawing and technical drawing.
Knowledge of current standards of representation.
Ability to choose, use and combine methods, techniques and tools of representation and communication.
Capacity to select and use the architectural survey methods.
