Objectives

The course aims to provide students with the tools to interpret microeconomics and macroeconomics. The course will also provide a number of useful elements on the subject of human resources management and industrial law.

Acquired skills

- Ability to understand elements of macroeconomics
- Ability to understand elements of microeconomics
- Ability to use some solutions for human resource management.
- Ability to use some tools of industrial law.

Lectures and exercises (topics and specific content)

Macroeconomics: introduction; national accounts; development, unemployment and inflation; income and expense; currency, interest and income; monetary policy and fiscal policy; international economic ties; aggregate supply and demand, prices, wages and employment; inflation and unemployment; Macroeconomics Union Economic and Monetary Union; consumption and savings; investment spending; central bank, currency and credit; financial markets; adjustments and international interdependence; capital accumulation, savings and technological progress; neoclassical theory and growth accounting; the major economic events of the last century - the Great Depression, hyperinflation and budget deficits - the financial crisis of 2007-09; macroeconomics from the seventies to today (15 hours).
Microeconomics: consumer choice; the demand curves; price changes and consumer welfare; the family as a source of resources; the company and production; the costs of the company; the company competes; equilibrium in competitive markets; the general equilibrium and welfare economics; the monopoly; the monopolistic behavior; game theory; oligopoly and strategic behavior; the choices under conditions of uncertainty; asymmetric Information (15 hours).
Human Resource management: strategy and human resources; the cycle of the value of human resources; people, motivations and skills; program to grow; labour markets; the collective agreement to the individual contract; from contract to commitment; develop human capital; organize the work of the people; manage performance; evaluate human resources; reward human resources; participation; valuing differences and plurality (15 hours).
Industrial law: industrial property, intellectual property and competition; patents and designs, brands, unfair competition, copyright, intersections between paradigms of intellectual property and antitrust, judicial protection of intellectual and industrial property rights, judicial and administrative protection antitrust (15 hours).
