The European Joint Programme on Rare Diseases launches today the Joint Transnational Call 2023, a funding opportunity for research projects on the development of new analytic tools and pathways to accelerate diagnosis and facilitate diagnostic monitoring of rare diseases.
This year’s topic is: “Natural History Studies addressing unmet needs in Rare Diseases”.
The aim of the funding opportunity is to enable scientists in different countries to build an effective collaboration on a common interdisciplinary research project based on complementarities and sharing of expertise, with expected impact to use the results in the future for benefit of patients.
EU4Health PROGRAMME (EU4H) – CALL FRO PROPOSAL TO SUPPORT MEMBER STATES AND OTHER RELEVANT ACTORS TO IMPLEMENT RELEVANT RESULTS OF INNOVATIVE PUBLIC HEALTH RESEARCH IN RELATION TO VACCINATION AGAINST COVID-19
The action aims to support Member States and relevant stakeholders to implement the results of recent and relevant research in relation to vaccination against COVID-19.
The action should cover the following activities:
mapping public health evidence and research results on COVID-19 large-scale vaccination that could be relevant for uptake, including findings, from Member States and outside of the Union;
identifying challenges and assess the feasibility to implement solutions in Member States, based on the mapping and taking country-specific factors into account;
developing implementation plans and pilot activities to respond to the current pandemic context or future health crises, or to optimise current routine vaccination practices, including catch-up vaccination;
implementing the pilot activities in volunteering Member States including the activities identified as potentially most effective (e.g. training programmes for health professionals, awareness-raising campaigns to tackle vaccine hesitancy, health preparedness training programmes, infrastructure initiatives, dedicated events for the exchange of good practices, risk communication and community engagement etc.);
identifying successful pilot activities and, based on these, develop a robust sustainability plan for continued implementation and toolkits and recommendations for upscaling in other Member States.
Project budgets (maximum grant amount) are expected to be around 1.800.000 € per project, but this does not preclude the submission/selection of proposals requesting other amounts.

In riferimento al Bando interno a sportello per il finanziamento di iniziative propedeutiche alla presentazione di progetti di ricerca nell'ambito del primo pilastro del Programma Quadro per la ricerca “Horizon Europe”, si segnala che sono tuttora disponibili dei voucher a copertura delle spese per la presentazione di proposte MSCA Staff Exchanges e MSCA Doctoral Networks (Azione 1.a.), ERC (Azione 1.b.), e MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship - Global Fellowship (Azione 2.b), su temi coerenti con il PNR, nelle call in scadenza nel 2023.

Il Programma Interreg VI-A Italia - Austria 2021-2027 è stato presentato il 25 novembre 2022 durante il Kick-Off Event. Come annunciato, per il primo avviso alla presentazione di proposte di progetto relative alle priorità 1, 2, 3 e 5 si terrà un Webinar online in tedesco e in italiano.
L'incontro in lingua italiana si terrà il 24 gennaio 2023 mentre quello in lingua tedesca il 25 gennaio.

This info day aims to inform potential applicants about the research topics included in the 2023 calls under Cluster 2 'Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Societies'. Future projects should deliver on the three intervention areas matching the Horizon Europe Strategic Plan (2021-2024):

Cultural heritage
Social and economic transformations
All topics under this Cluster are expected to mainstream Social Sciences and Humanities and to include a gender dimension.
This match-making event brings together participants from all over Europe and beyond. It is the unique opportunity to generate new contacts and to build up project consortia. Participants have the opportunity to pre-arrange meetings with other participants in order to identify possible collaborators and to facilitate the setup of Horizon Europe project consortia.
