The scope of the 2022 Joint Call is based on the ICT-AGRI-FOOD vision, which explicitly sets out to bring together actors from across the entire food system (from conventional and organic supply chains) in a multi-actor approach. The challenge is to develop systems that are efficient, effective, equitable, trustable and transparent while enhancing sustainability of these.
RESEARCH AND INNOVATION ACTIONS SUPPORTING THE GLOBAL HEALTH EDCTP3 JOINT UNDERTAKING (HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2022-01)
The European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP3) exists to accelerate the clinical development of new or improved health technologies for the identification, treatment and prevention of poverty-related and neglected infectious diseases, including (re-)emerging diseases. In addition, the EDCTP funds activities for research capacity building in Africa, supporting researchers’ careers and strengthening national health research systems.

CEF ENERGY 2021-2027 - CALL FOR PROJECTS OF COMMON INTEREST (PCIs) - WORKS & STUDIES
The Commission has launched a new call for proposals for key cross-border EU energy infrastructure projects under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for Energy. Foreseen as part of today’s REPowerEU Plan, the call contributes to the EU aim of increasing the resilience of the EU-wide energy system in order to phase out our dependency on fossil fuels from Russia well before 2030. The general objective of this call is to support Works & Studies that will enable PCIs to be implemented within the framework of the deployment of trans-European networks in the energy sector.Studies include activities needed to prepare PCI implementation, such as preparatory, mapping, feasibility, evaluation, testing and validation studies, including in the form of software, and any other technical support measure, including prior action to define and develop a PCI and decide on its financing, such as reconnaissance of the sites concerned and preparation of the financial package.

The EJP SOIL International Call will follow a one-step-procedure, but a pre-registration of the proposal is mandatory for submission of proposals. The pre-registration requires: project data (e.g. title, acronym, duration, topic), project summary, contact data of all partners (CV and a very brief tentative description of tasks), financial plan (sum of total requested funding incl. estimation of each cost item). For the Italian beneficiaries the funding body is the Ministry of Agriculture.
STAKEHOLDER CONSULTATION ON THE DRAFT CODE OF PRACTICE ON STANDARDISATION FOR RESEARCH
The EC has launched an open consultation on a draft Code of Practice on standardisation for researchers. All interested stakeholders from science, industry and public society are invited to voice their opinion. The consultation aims to co-create the Code of Practice that shall be instrumental for research actors to raise awareness and to replicate good practices of effective standardisation strategies in bringing research results to the market.
