INTERREG ITA-SLO - SIGMA2 - Rete transfrontaliera per la gestione sostenibile dell’ambiente e la biodiversità
Project goals 1) to reduce the impact of protection by decreasing the number of interventions; 2) to improve the meteorological network and plant protection monitoring network for olive growing, creating an extendible model that can be replicated by other production areas, including the wine sector; 3) to make available the technological innovative instruments aimed at providing a common service for the rational management of the monitoring network and plant protection; 4) to introduce technologies (on-line management software, Decision Support System, mobile messaging) which allow the optimisation of communication flow between the technician and the producer; 5) to promote the professional qualification of sector technicians and the informed participation of the producers.
