INTERREG ITA-SLO - VISO - Viticoltura sostenibile e valorizzazione delle risorse territoriali nella filiera vitivinicola

The winemaking is considered a driving force for the promotion of rural land borders, through the enhancement of the wine landscape and the excellence of local products. The objective of the project is to strengthen the competitiveness of the wine and the attractiveness of the rural tourism, by promoting a model of sustainable viticulture, based on the dissemination and sharing of knowledge and innovative research across all components of the wine industry. The concept of sustainable viticulture fact suggests solutions to the current problems of the wine-making: economic sustainability, competitiveness, diversification of production and valorization of typical products, and environmental sustainability. The project, that involves Statistic region Goriška, statistic region Obalno-kraška, Udine province and Gorizia province, started on 01/10/2012 and ended on 31/03/2015.
