Professional Education

Graduates in Professional Education are health professionals in the field of rehabilitation. The Course provides an integrated body of knowledge relating to psycho-pedagogy, socio-anthropology, law, economics and health. It includes internships and laboratories etc., so that you can apply your knowledge in the different fields of disability, mental health, the elderly, minors, drug-addiction and marginalization. You will learn how to solve individual problems, plan and implement educational projects for the disadvantaged, to assess and identify technical and specialized resources.
You will work in a team with other professionals and operate in the field of interpersonal relationships, families, groups, institutions, structures and services. You can work in public and private social-health and social-educational structures and services, in the territory, in residential and semi residential structures, either as an employee or freelance. Your work will be to rehabilitate into society those persons suffering from psycho-physical disabilities, or are at risk, or socially marginalized. The fields in which you will work are services for minors, drug addicts, psychiatric patients, the disabled, the elderly and the seriously marginalized.

Professional educators work in a team with other professionals and, according to their competences,  operate in the field of interpersonal relationships, families, groups, institutions, structures and services for the person; they participate in studies, research and documentation for the purposes listed above.
Their professional activity is carried out in public and private social-health and social-educational structures and services, in the territory, in residential and semi residential structures, either as employees or freelance.
