The University of Udine modernization and internationalization strategy to guarantee a high quality didactics and international students and staff outgoing and incoming mobility, according to the European Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2021/27.

ERASMUS CHARTER FOR HIGHER EDUCATION 2021-2027 CERTIFICATE

The new European programme 2021/2027 for education, training, youth and sport previews that all Higher Education Institutions in Europe implement and sign the new Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE).

Through the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education and Erasmus Policy Statement (EPS) in particular, every Higher Education Insitution demonstrates ist modernization and internationalization strategy to work in an international context and guarantee a high quality of didactic and to offer international mobility experiences to its stuents and academic and administrative staff.

 

The ECHE defines the general quality framework to implement European and international cooperation activities that the university is going to realize in the next seven years. Moreover, undersigning the ECHE is mandatory to participate to Erasmus+ programme. 

Undersigning the 2021/2027 ECHE, the University of Udine:

  • confirms its participation to Erasmus programme as significant for its internationalization strategy;
  • confirms the importance of mobility and of the partecipation to cooperation projects to develop the quality of its didactics and guarantee international experiences to its university community;
  • commits itself to follow Erasmus Programme goals, with particular reference to the use of the Learning Agreement, to international cooperation and to the development and cooperation politics support;
  • commits itself to guarantee the quality of all activities done under Erasmus Programme and to contribute to the education system.

Undersigning the ECHE, the University of Udine commits itself to:

  • respect inclusion, trasparency and non-discrimination principles;
  • ensure an eEqual opportunities and access to participants;
  • ensure to recognize mobility credits;
  • guarantee full ECTS system implementation;
  • guarantees an equal ratio between credits to be acquired in the host institution and the duration of the study period;
  • extempt taxes for incoming mobiltity students;
  • ensure the quality of mobility and cooperation activities; 
  • implement digital management of mobility, according to European Student Card Initiative;
  • promotes environmental respect;
  • encourages less opportunities people to participate to Erasmus Programme;
  • promotes civic commitment;
  • guarantees the quality of mobility programmes.
