Permit of stay for study
Students from non-EU countries holding a study visa who intend to stay in Italy for more than 90 days must apply for a permit of stay for study purpose within 8 working days after the entrance in Italian territory.

Italian tax code
In order to complete administrative procedures and access to numerous services such as enrolment at UNIUD, payment of tuition fees and contributions, signing contracts (rental, utilities, telephone), opening a bank account, and enrolment for the National Health Insurance Service (SSN), every international student must apply for a tax code free of charge at the Italian Revenue Agency.
Please note: in order to receive the tax code, every international student applying for a study visa must present, together with the passport, the study visa obtained and the receipt of the application for the permit of stay for study.
