PFIZER RESEARCH GRANT - REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - "REAL-WORD ATOPIC DERMATITIS: ITALIAN INSIGHTS GRANT OVERVIEW - Deadline 19/02/2026  

Pfizer is launching a competitive grant program to support Investigator’s Sponsored Research (ISR) projects aimed at collecting real-world data (RWD) emerging from the on-label abrocitinib (200 mg and 100 mg) indication to adult patients (≥18 years) with Atopic Dermatitis (AD) in the Italian clinical practice. The intent of this RFP is to encourage proposals that align with current therapeutic guidelines and address unmet needs in the Italian clinical scenario. Applicants are encouraged to submit projects aimed at generating real-world evidence (RWE) to address current gaps in the management of AD in Italy, with a specific focus on abrocitinib, to further investigate its effectiveness and safety.

HORIZON EUROPE - EIC ADVANCED INNOVATION CHALLENGES PILOT - CALL FOR PROPOSAL (STAGE 1) - Deadline 26/02/2026  

The call introduces a new pilot scheme with staged funding and closer integration of user and demand perspectives inspired by the ARPA-style approach but adapted to the Horizon Europe legal and operational framework. This EIC Work Programme (2026) provides the provisions for the implementation of Stage 1 support for this pilot. It also sets out indicative provisions for Stage 2 which is anticipated to be funded under the 2027 EIC Work Programme and is subject to the adoption of this Work Programme. EPO (EUROPEAN PATENT OFFICE): SIXTH CALL UNDER THE ACADEMIC RESEARCH PROGRAMME - Deadline 27/02/2026  

The European Patent Office (EPO) has launched a new call for research proposals as part of its Academic Research Programme (ARP). The ARP supports high-quality, practical research on patent-related topics and is closely connected to the work of the EPO's Observatory on Patents and Technology. The new ARP call invites research proposals in two categories: 1. Advanced methods for forecasting patent applications 2. Local ecosystems of academic inventors and universities. Successful applicants will work with two key EPO tools: the Technology Intelligence Platform (TIP) and PATSTAT, both offering world-class patent data and analytics. Research proposals may be submitted by research institutes based in the member states of the European Patent Organisation or by groups of institutions (with the main applicant located in a member state). There are no nationality requirements.

PFIZER GLOBAL RESEARCH - REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL "PERSONALIZED MONITORING AND TREATMENT FOR HR+, HER2 - MBC PATIENTS TREATED WITH CDK4/6I: INCORPORATING PATIENT COMPLEXITY AND RISK FACTORS - Deadline 27/03/2026  

This initiative seeks proposals for projects in one of two streams: Quality Improvement (QI) or Research. The goal is to support initiatives that investigate, establish, and/or implement strategies to measurably improve the quality of care for patients with hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) metastatic breast cancer (mBC) treated in the first line with cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK4/6) inhibitors, with a specific focus on patients aged 65 and older, or those who have comorbidities, are on polypharmacy, are frail, or present specific tumor characteristics.

E' aperto il bando relativo alle Azioni Marie Sklodowska-Curie Staff Exchanges, con un budget complessivo per il 2025 pari a € 97.92 milioni e con scadenza prevista per il 16 aprile 2026. Le azioni MSCA Staff Exchanges promuovono una collaborazione internazionale, intersettoriale e interdisciplinare innovativa nella ricerca e nell'innovazione attraverso lo scambio di personale e la condivisione di conoscenze e idee in tutte le fasi della catena dell'innovazione. Il programma promuove quindi una cultura condivisa della ricerca e dell'innovazione che accoglie e premia la creatività e l'imprenditorialità e aiuta a trasformare le idee in prodotti, servizi o processi innovativi.

INTERREG CENTRAL EUROPE 2021-2027 CAPITALISATION CALL 2025 - Deadline 27/11/2026  

Strategic projects for capitalisation are to take up existing Interreg transnational and cross-border outputs and results, to meet existing and new needs and strengthen their territorial and policy impact in wider areas, also beyond border regions. They must go beyond a mere pooling or duplication of what already exists. Instead, they should further develop, improve, or adapt existing outputs and results by drawing on the experience of more projects. As a minimum requirement, projects must explicitly take up existing outputs and results from: At least two Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE projects funded under the first and second calls of the 2021–2027 programme, and at least two Interreg cross-border cooperation projects (funded in the 2021-2027 period or, if relevant, in the 2014-2020 period), addressing internal central European borders.
