The following activities can be funded under this call: - activities that support innovation in low-carbon technologies and processes in sectors listed in Annex I to the EU ETS Directive 2003/87, including environmentally safe carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) that contributes substantially to mitigating climate change, as well as products substituting carbon-intensive ones produced in sectors listed in Annex I to the EU ETS Directive; - activities that help stimulate the construction and operation of projects that aim at the environmentally safe capture and geological storage of CO2 (CCS); - activities that help stimulate the construction and operation of innovative renewable energy and energy storage technologies;

Possono beneficiare delle agevolazioni le imprese di qualsiasi dimensione, anche in forma congiunta, e gli Organismi di Ricerca (in qualità di co-proponenti) che intendono realizzare un piano di decarbonizzazione industriale. La dotazione finanziaria ammonta a 1 miliardo di euro, a valere sulle risorse messe a disposizione dal Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR, Missione 2, Componente 2, Investimento 3.2 “Utilizzo dell’idrogeno in settori hard-to-abate”). Alla ricerca industriale sono riservati 450 M€.

The Belmont Forum and the Joint Programming Initiatives Connecting Climate Knowledge for Europe (JPI Climate) and Cultural Heritage and Global Change (JPI CH) are pleased to announce the launch of a Collaborative Research Action (CRA) on the theme Climate and Cultural Heritage – Collaborative research to address urgent challenges. This Call aims to support transdisciplinary and convergent research approaches on cultural heritage and climate change, to foster collaboration among the research community across several regions, and to contribute to knowledge advances and policy change at the global level. Applicants are invited to submit research proposals that address at least one of the three call themes: The Impact of Climate Change on Cultural Heritage; Cultural Heritage as a Resource for Climate Mitigation and Adaptation; Sustainable Solutions for Heritage.
