PROMOCON - Promoting a morally competent nurse
Abstract
The aim of the project is to develop a deeper understanding of the importance of moral values and ethical principles in nursing care and to increase moral and ethical competencies among nurses and nursing students.
The project will develop: a needs analysis; two literature reviews to identify interventions to promote moral competencies and tools to assess them; a profile of the “morally competent” nurse and a related MOOC curriculum; a “Train the Trainers” toolkit and a Summer School. Finally a Good Practice Guide for nurses, students, trainers and stakeholders.
